About the event
MAKING PAINT FROM SOIL WITH PATRICIA LARENAS (This is the new date- the May 31st class was cancelled).
In this special workshop, Patricia will show you how to make water-based paint from colorful soil samples with simple tools. How to choose samples and collect them in the field, and responsible collecting will also be covered. This is a hands-on event and participants will have the opportunity to try out each step in the process, and even try painting with the freshly made paint.
Patricia has been making her own pigments for several years and teaches workshops locally in the Bay Area.
