We will study the work of Jan Van Kessler the Elder, a Flemish artist during the 1600’s. His small paintings feature a variety of insects and butterflies as well as botanicals. He often depicted a color theme for his paintings. You will choose your own painting or mix paintings and create it with your own style with colored pencil or water color.
