About the event
BOOK ARTS WITH BABA (Bay Area Book Artists, all all welcome!)
Coptic stitch is a non-adhesive, hand-sewn binding method that creates an exposed spine binding that lays flat when the book is opened. We will create a small blank book for you to decorate with your own artwork or writing. All materials will be provided including 2 pieces of9 ½ by 5 ½ cardstock for the cover, 5 ½ by 8 ½ text weight pages,waxed linen thread and a curved tapestry needle.
