NATURE DIARY & JOURNALING: Around the park
In this class, we will use a sketchbook to record the changing nature around us. We’ll be mainly working outdoors at Holbrook Palmer Park. Students will learn to make observations of scene from a compositional angle, making quick decisions on subjects and framing, while capturing the changing light and shadow in limited time with quick lines and washes. You will learn to paint on site using the minimal and easy to carry materials. Medium of choice is open, however watercolor or colored pencil is recommended. Folding camp stools will be provided. AAF has some watercolors and palettes to borrow. Bring your own journal! Contact Waverly for a detailed, complete supply list.
